THE TEAM TERMINATES THE CONTRACT WITH THE VALENCIAN MOTO 3 FIM CEV RIDER
The Argiñano & Ginés Racing Team will be without Josito García in the FIM CEV this weekend. The team has decided to sever the contract we had with the Valencian rider for this season, and we wish him every success in the future. His results haven’t matched expectations and this is the best solution for both sides.
This means that our KTM Moto3 will be without a rider for the next date in the FIM CEV Repsol this weekend in Jerez. But the team led by Kepa Burutxaga intends to compete in full in the next two races: Albacete and Valencia.
The Argiñano & Ginés Racing Team is travelling to Andalusia this weekend to race the Kalex in Moto2 only, with the aim that Edgar Pons will keep working towards the European title in Moto2, which is still mathematically within his reach, as well as the hope that Benny Solís can start to get beyond his recent back problems.
Kepa Burutxaga, Team Manager: “Josito Garcia won’t be remaining with AGR in Moto3 in the FIM CEV Repsol competition; for now, the bike is free. We’ll see if we can find a substitute for the last two races of the season. We haven’t decided anything yet. Josito García’s results weren’t up to expectations. We wish him all the best for the future”.
