In Moto3, Gerard Riu will go for the podium form the 7th position.

We are now with the last races of the calendar, those aimed at discovering who is the best rider of each championship or which rider has taken a step forward during the season.  And Albacete, the only race of the FIM CEV Repsol we have in October, cab become historical for our team if Edgar Pons manages to win the Spanish Championship. Now, in the official timing sessions, both Pons and the rest of Moto2 and Moto3 riders have had very good sensations for tomorrow.

The pole in Moto2 once again is for Edgar Pons.  Our rider has dominated in both sessions of the day, marking his best lap in the morning, and points toward trying for double victories on Sunday. Garzo y Montella have finalised very close to our rider, which means that tomorrow we will enjoy very exciting races. And Taiga Hada, despite finishing 17th, will not race tomorrow. A hard fall in curve five during QP2 due to a defective connecting rod meant that the Japanese rider had to be taken to hospital. He is alright, but everything points to a fractured wrist. Courage!

He will start very near the points area and in his adaptation process to the category, the sensations he is offering are unbeatable.

And in Moto3, we have seen how Gerard Riu has returned to his normal line.  After overcoming the problems in his wrist that impeded him from competing in Jerez, the Catalonian rider tomorrow will start 7th. His objective: be on the podium for the first time of the season. In turn, Iñigo Iglesias will try to remount and be near the points area. He will start from 24th position, despite showing good sensations in QP2. He will have start very strongly and link with the leading group.

Tomorrow we will be in 3 races. Two in Moto2, at 11:00 and at 14:00 and the Moto3 one at 12:00. Good luck team!

Edgar Pons 1st (QP1: 1st / QP2: 1st) 01:32.074: “It has been a very positive day for me. We have achieved the pole position tomorrow and not only for having good rhythm. I believe everything looks good for tomorrow. It is going to be very hot, not like how is has been over the weekend. I am very happy for the sensations and looking forward to the races. This is a very important day for all,  because we have winning the championship in our hands. Lastly, I want to thank the team for all the support they are giving me.

Taiga Hada 17th (QP1: 17th / QP2: 15th) 01:34.034: “I arrived with good sensations to Albacete and I believe that in QP1 I have shown my level, finishing 17th. But in the second I suffered a hard fall and I cannot race tomorrow”.

Gerard Riu 7th (QP1: 7th / QP2: 13th) 01:34.575: “It has been a positive day for me. We have finished 7th and I have options for everything. Tomorrow we will try to do the best we can. We have been saving energies all weekend, because I am still having pains from the fracture in Jerez, but I will try to fight for the podium.

Iñigo Iglesias 24th (QP1: 22nd / QP2: 18th) 01:35.425: “It has been a day for finding sensations because there have been two days of hard training for me., I have taken it easy, working with the team, and in my possibilities. I have focussed on lap by lap and finding a good setting for tomorrow. I believe that tomorrow we can make a good race although we start at the back, but I trust in making a good start. My objective is to try finishing in the points.
