Without any rest after Estoril AGR riders are already at the Autodromo International do Algarve to race the second round of the calendar. After a successful debut at Estoril Taiga Hada, Gerard Riu and Joel Kelso face this weekend with the target of improving the last results.
Taiga Hada, after her eighth and sixth place in Estoril, seeks to keep up the rhythm in both Moto2 races. The Japanese has shown that he can fight for the top positions in the standings.
Gerard Riu knows that he can fight for the victory in each race. He could only be eleventh after a crash at Estoril. Riu and the team are confident on getting a great result this weekend.
Joel Kelso showed a great improvement in the race going up almost ten positions despite initial feeling wasn’t the best. The Australian continues with his adaptation to the bike and the championship. He is ready to go one step further and improve the results in Portimao.
Hada is seventh in the Moto2 overall standing with 18 points. In Moto3, Gerard Riu is eleventh with 5 points, while Kelso failed to get into scoring positions.
