AGR Team and Sam Wilford have reaches an agreement to finish the 2020 FIM CEV Repsol season together. The british rider will compete in Moto2 with Taiga Hada during the next rounds at MotorLand Aragón and at the Ricado Tormo Circuit.
Wilford began his career in british championships, winning the Supertwin and RRV450 Championships in 2014 and 2015 respectively. After three years in the British Supersport Championship in 2018 he finished in seventh position, the best private rider. In 2019 he was third in the British GP2 Championship and made his FIM CEV Repsol debut competing in some races as a ‘wild card’. This year he is thirteenth in Moto2 general standing with 22 points. He reached the tenth position in Portimao and he was so close from top 10 in each race.
Anscari Nadal (Team Manager): “Sam has participated in British Championships and he has experiences in the FIM CEV Repsol. He really wants to fight for being in the World Championship in the future. It will be a plus for him and it will allow him to improve a lot. We have good expectations, we believe in him and step by step the results will come”.

They are very professional team which gives me the opportunity to improve and get the best results possible for me. The goal for me is to finish the year strong and improve in every session, for sure this is a tough championship but I think we can have some great results.
