British rider Sam Wilford will continue with AGR Team for the 2021 FIM CEV Repsol Season. Wilford joined the team for two races at the end of the season, finishing eleventh in the Moto2 general standing for the year. After getting his best results of the year at Aragon with a seventh place, the target for next season is to continue his progression and to fight for the podium.
Anscari Nadal: “I’m very happy about Sam’s renewal. It is very positive that he wants to continue with us after getting his best results. It’s a sign of the potential of both the rider and the team. This year I’m sure he’ll go one step further in his progression and I think in 2022 he’ll be a candidate for the podium.”
Sam Wilford: “I’m really excited about this opportunity to join AGR Team for the 2021 season. We did a great job at the end of 2020 and I’m excited to see what we can achieve next year. Thanks to everyone involved in making this possible and I look forward to work with the team in 2021!”
